Born in Cambridge, Jim was educated at Parkside School, Hills Road Sixth Form College and the University of Newcastle. His career has focused on international education and he is currently Programme Director of the Gates Cambridge Trust – a prestigious international scholarship programme set up by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation at the University of Cambridge.
He is privileged to be a Senior Member of Wolfson College and a Trustee of Jimmy’s Cambridge. Jim is passionate about music: he has been a signed musician and currently hosts live music nights in Cambridge.
