Jimmy's is my home from home. A place where I can get back on my feet

Louise has been in and out of homelessness for several decades, experiencing mental and physical ill heath, family conflict and substance use. She has stayed at Jimmy's multiple times, considering it a home from home where she can get back on her feet, and take time to think. This stay at Jimmy's feels different: she has managed to stop drinking and is now hoping to move into one of our modular homes, so she has more space and time to achieve her goals. Once settled, Louise wants to get involved with community work in the city that aims to support insect biodiversity, including building inspect lodges, rewilding key areas, and running education programmes. She has loved insects since studying them in the garden with her parents as a child.
