Jimmy’s Cambridge is proud to share our 2025 Impact Report, marking an important milestone in our journey and celebrating 30 years of supporting people from street floor to their own front door.
For three decades, Jimmy’s has been at the heart of Cambridge, working to ensure that no one has to sleep rough in our city. Our latest Impact Report reflects on the difference that supporters, staff, volunteers and residents have made together over the past year, and highlights the progress we continue to make in helping people move forward from homelessness.
A year of impact
Over the past year, Jimmy’s has supported 250 people through our accommodation and support services. From emergency accommodation at our East Road site, to our multiple needs centre, supported houses and modular homes, each stage of accommodation plays an important role in helping people rebuild their lives.
The report shows how stable housing combined with compassionate, professional support can transform lives:

76% of residents at East Road reported experiencing mental ill health, highlighting the importance of the intensive support we provide
Our teams offer 24/7 support, 365 days a year, helping residents work towards independence, improve wellbeing and reconnect with their goals for the future.
Supporting people beyond accommodation
Our work does not end when someone moves on from Jimmy’s accommodation. Through programmes such as Project Bridge, our support workers stay connected with former residents, helping to reduce isolation and support people as they settle into independent living.
This continued support is vital in helping people maintain stability and break the cycle of homelessness.
Celebrating 30 years of Jimmy’s
2025 marks a special year for Jimmy’s as we celebrate three decades of supporting people in Cambridge. What began in the basement of a church has grown into a cornerstone charity in the city, providing safe homes and expert support for people experiencing homelessness.
Throughout the year we have also invested in our properties, strengthened our services, and continued to develop our staff through training and professional development to ensure residents receive the highest quality support.
