🎁Donate a Food Shop to Jimmy’s this Christmas

As the festive season approaches, many of us are planning our big Christmas food shop — thinking about mince pies, cranberry sauce, and all the little treats that make the season special.

This year, we’re inviting you to do something extra special:

💛 When you book your Christmas shop… can you book one for Jimmy’s too?

Jimmy’s Cambridge provides safe accommodation, warm meals, and vital support for people experiencing homelessness. Christmas can be a particularly hard time of year, and your generosity can help make it a little brighter for everyone staying with us.

We provide Christmas dinners for almost 100 people across our services, with volunteers cooking Christmas dinner for our residents at our 451 and East Road projects, to Christmas dinner parcels provided at our shared houses and individual modular homes. We make sure no one goes without at Christmas.

“Since being at Jimmy’s I have felt cared for, hopeful for the future and safe.”
— Jimmy’s resident

By simply adding a few extra items to your online order — or doing a separate “Jimmy’s shop” — you can make a real difference.

🛒 How to Help

Download our suggested food donation list here.

  1. Book your own Christmas food shop (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, etc.)
  2. Add a few extra items for Jimmy’s — or book a small separate order just for donation.
  3. Arrange a delivery or drop-off.

If you’re ordering online, you can send it directly to us at 1 East Road, Cambridge, CB1 1BD any time/day.

If you’re shopping in person, simply drop it at the address above.

No time to shop, donate to our Winter Appeal here.

🌟 Together, We Can Make Christmas Brighter

It doesn’t take much — one extra shop, a few festive treats, or a handful of essentials — to bring warmth and dignity to someone’s Christmas.

Whether you’re donating as a family, a workplace, or just adding a few items to your own basket, your kindness truly counts.

📦 Thank you for helping Jimmy’s Cambridge make this Christmas a time of comfort, care, and community.
