Open Your Eyes to the Light: Cambridge Open Studios 2025

Open Your Eyes to the Light: Fiona Blake at Cambridge Open Studios 2025

We warmly invite you to explore the evocative and light-filled paintings of Fiona Blake, a long-time contributor to Cambridge’s creative and community landscapes. A committed supporter and volunteer at Jimmy’s Cambridge, Fiona has been a vital part of the organisation for many years—offering not only her time, but donating all proceeds from her artwork to support those experiencing homelessness.

Fiona’s art is rooted in perception and personal reflection. Drawing inspiration from ancient glass and its subtle distortions, she creates semi-abstract views of urban and rural scenes that invite each viewer to bring their own story. Her recent work, inspired by close friend and fellow exhibitor Jeannette Josse, explores refractions of light through wine and drinking glasses—transforming the ordinary into shimmering studies of intimacy and perspective.

For Cambridge Open Studios 2025, Fiona and Jeannette co-exhibit in a shared artistic dialogue, each drawing from the other’s vision to push creative boundaries and explore new interpretations. Their collaboration offers a unique interplay of media, light, and form—united by mutual insight and curiosity.

Visit Studio 67 to experience the transformative power of seeing “through the glass.” Come for the art, stay for the stories, and know that every purchase helps support vital community work at Jimmy’s.
