Volunteers’ Week takes place 1-7 June every year. It’s a chance to recognise the fantastic contribution volunteers make to our community and say thank you!
The contribution of volunteers is often unseen and therefore unrecognised by many, visible only through the incredible impact of their volunteering. We want to take this time during Volunteers’ Week to celebrate their efforts and all they contribute to our work here at Jimmy’s.
Volunteer Co-ordinator Ros said.
“It is such a delight and thrill to be able to meet and chat with volunteers. Getting to know them, understanding their passion and why they want to come and volunteer at Jimmy’s is such a pleasure. I just want to give a big thank you to each and every one of you.”
Every year volunteers continue to inspire us with the dedication and skills that they bring. From cooking, serving meals, reception duties, maintaining gardens and supporting residents attending appointments, our volunteers all play a vital role.
