Mark Allan

After completing a degree in Psychology at Aberdeen University, Mark worked with several Housing Associations in housing management and in the social and economic regeneration of more disadvantaged areas. He moved across to work for charities, starting at Toynbee Hall, a charity that seeks to test out new ideas to help shape how services are delivered more widely. Then at the South Kilburn Trust he established a new community and workplace hub, with a particular focus on community activities for all ages, and supporting emerging entrepreneurs.

His voluntary work has included chairing London Friend, a health and wellbeing organisation for people who are LGBTQ+.

Mark is a dog lover, and is proud that Jimmy’s welcomes people to stay with us who have dogs – or indeed any other pets.
