Saturday 10th October was World Homeless Day, but for our team and the people we support, it’s every day.
To mark it, we asked one simple question: What’s the one thing you wish people knew or understood about homelessness? Our CEO, Natasha Davies provided had this to say:
“There is always hope and there is always a possibility of a good future still ahead.”
It’s a message that sits at the heart of everything we do. Every day, we help people take vital steps from Street Floor to Front Door, in whatever form that takes. We meet people where they are, without judgement and always with hope.
In the news
We were also pleased to see Jimmy’s featured in the Daily Express on World Homeless Day, where Andrew Papworth came to visit us at East Road, speaking to the team, volunteers and residents about Homelessness in Cambridge, hearing their stories and views on Andy Burnham’s pledge to End Homelessness. How you can help
If you want to support, on World Homeless Day or any day, the first step is simple: kindness. Seeing the person, not the circumstance.

Thank you for being part of our community, and for believing, as we do, that a good future is always possible.💜
