Last Wednesday, we welcomed a room full of supporters to the iconic dining hall at King’s College, Cambridge, for our Gala Dinner.
There was magic in the air, and not just from our magician! It was a joy to be surrounded by people who care so deeply about this city and the people who live in it.

We are grateful to our speakers on the night, Hannah Baldwin and Matt Wiseman, for sharing their time and words with our guests. There was a moment during the evening, when Matt was sharing his deeply personal story of his own lived experience, where the room erupted in applause. It was a beautiful moment, and a reminder that behind every number is a person, and that when a community comes together, real change happens. Matt is living proof that our work matters, and that for every individual who comes through our doors – there is hope and opportunity.
A night like this doesn’t happen without the community and it was a joy to be surrounded by a room full of people who care about this city, the people in it and sharing our belief that nobody in our city should have to sleep rough.
Hope and opportunity start with a service like Jimmy’s. Every pound raised on the night will directly support our residents on their journey from Street Floor to Front Door.
